I'm not just a photographer. I'm a career creative who shoots.
I’ve spent 30 years as a creative. Former creative director, former agency owner. I’ve worked with consumer brands like Reebok, NASCAR, Coca-Cola, Budweiser and Bass Pro Shops, and financial brands like TIAA, MetLife and Charles Schwab. I’ve been shooting portraits professionally for a decade, and all of that creative background comes with me every time I pick up a camera.
I know what makes an image land, and I don’t make you wait for it. Your finals come back in three to five days instead of three to five weeks. No fluff. Just images that work as hard as you do.

What should I wear?
Solid colors work best. Avoid busy patterns, logos and anything you’d be nervous to see cropped tight. Bring two or three options if you’re booking the Signature or Brand Session.

Indoor or outdoor?
Typically indoors for headshots. For brand sessions we’ll discuss before the shoot and pick what works for your style and the light. Most sessions mix a few setups so you get variety without having to move far.

What happens if the weather is bad?
If rain or bad light makes the outdoor plan impossible we reschedule for the next available date at no charge. You’ll hear from me by 8am the morning of the shoot if there’s a call to make.

How fast do I get my images?
Three to five business days. I edit them myself the week of your session so you’re not waiting weeks like with most studios.

How many final images do I get?
You get the retouched finals listed in your package. Those are color-corrected and cleaned up. Extra retouched images from the session are $20 each.

Do you travel outside the Charlotte metro?
Yes. Send me the address when you inquire and I’ll include travel in the estimate.

Can you do a whole team?
Absolutely. For groups of 3 or more I come to your office and shoot everyone the same day for a consistent look. Send me the details and I’ll put together an estimate.

What if I don't like my photos?
I shoot tethered to a laptop or iPad so you can see your images live during the session. If something isn’t working we fix it on the spot, not afterward. In nearly a decade of portrait work I haven’t had to reshoot a session. If that ever changed, we’d reshoot at no charge.
